Thank you for showing up together! 💖

hello darling angels,

my heart is full as I had the very special opportunity to meet some of you for the first “showing up together” session last Sunday.

I have learned from our community that neurodivergent people regularly use this practice, called body doubling, to support each other in working on projects/tasks.

I was slightly terrified going into this event, as perhaps some of you might have been to get onto a call with people you didn’t know! I am proud of you, I am proud of us!

I’m really in awe of and so grateful to everyone who showed up and shared space with me and with us. Thank you for your presence! 💖 And all who wanted to, there’s more to come ;)

I’m also really proud of myself for following through on an idea (the phase of creation I struggle most with). This practice of rooting yourself in service of others so that you overcome your fear (often related to ego) to serve people is of deep interest and importance to me.

💖 For those who couldn’t make it, the next one will be next Sunday, August 6, this time from 10-1pm EST.

From then on I may try and do this every Sunday with exceptions for when I can’t make it — but actually, it would be super cool if it could be a self-running group that isn’t dependent on me at all!

So that’s my goal over time I think, that way it’s a consistent space available to people with other loving humans there to support them.
