I am just learning about the 12/11 strike for Palestine. I would have not posted this today had I known sooner. Free Palestine & CEASEFIRE NOWπ. I read this quote: Palestine needs our endurance π as do Congo, Sudan, Haiti, and many more.
thank you so much for this post. i have been struggling the last few weeks. i want to write a final bx frontlines post before the year is up, but my body is also transitioning with the time change, organizing, etc. and it's been so hard to not feel guilty and restless. i love this: "but hibernation is our birthright as beings of nature."
Thank you for your very informative breakdown on YouTube of Sidarthas Cobalt Red.
I was not aware of any that info, and you inspired me turn learn, donate, and move some of my learning focus over to the never ending tragedy that the Congo is suffering.
Wow as a chronic procrastinator I really needed that statement that we are not fully in control. I hear a lot the idea that we control our own bodies and minds, in a way that's meant to be empowering, but it's really not true. Especially when it comes to menta/physical health issues, we often really can't contol those things & there's something powerful about being able to accept that
thank you ayanda for always reminding us that we are nature and that creativity is a birthright!!!! be reminded of this is such a blessing! id love to recommit to printing photos and creating albums π₯°π₯ΉπΈπΎπΌβ¨ iβve not done that in a while π’
really needed this. i feel this is especially prevalent amongst younger people. in a workaholic, hustle culture, it feels like we need to monetize our passions and aggrandize ourselves, or else we aren't truly "successful"
I love this so much. I've viewed incompletion as failure for so long that the fact of recommitting to a project and going back to it as a creative ebb and flow shifts perspective. From guilt and shame to a place where I can rediscover my love for my craft and have the opportunity to breathe new life into something forgotten. Thank you for your words and gentle reminders.
I literally got goosebumps when I read "that creativity is my birthright." Thanks for the reminder, I love your perspective and I always feel super inspired listening/reading your thoughts!!!!!! πππ
